Job Title: Elevator Operator
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Location: Topeka KS 66608
Duration: 3 Months
Shift: 1st Shift (Starts at 7:30 AM 8 10 hrs/day)
Description:
Operate safely following company policies and safety regulations
Load and unload trucks and railcars
Perform grain handling activities including transferring blending and pile reclaiming
Maintain facility appearance including elevators grounds and buildings
Monitor equipment and report maintenance or repair needs
Support facility maintenance and operational activities
Provide excellent customer service and teamwork support
Solve operational issues and make decisions as needed
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Climb ladders and work at elevated heights
Perform physically demanding tasks when required
Required Skills:
Grain handling and facility operations support
Strong safety awareness and compliance
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in outdoor and physically demanding environments
Preferred Skills:
Experience in grain elevator agriculture or manufacturing operations
Equipment monitoring or maintenance experience
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Experience:
Previous industrial agricultural warehouse or production experience preferred
