Location: Private Gated Community, Bahamas

Compensation: $35+ per hour DOE, paid weekly

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (split shift on Monday & Thursday), plus one weekend day from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Overview / About the Family:
A warm and welcoming family based in a secure private gated community in the Bahamas is seeking a dedicated, experienced live-in nanny to care for their two school-age children, ages 8 and 5. This long-term role is ideal for a calm, patient, and nurturing professional who is confident supporting children with mild anxiety and can provide a structured, engaging, and emotionally supportive environment. The family offers a collaborative and respectful work environment within a fully staffed household, along with beautiful private accommodations and opportunities for regular international travel.

Benefits:
The nanny will be provided with a private apartment featuring a kitchen, loft-style bedroom, living area, washer/dryer, and separate entrance. The employer will assist with obtaining a work permit. Benefits include 2 weeks paid vacation, 2 sick days, 2 personal days, 6 paid holidays, and a health insurance contribution to be determined.

Responsibilities:

• Manage morning and afternoon routines, including school preparation, drop-offs, and pick-ups using the family vehicle provided for work-related use.
• Oversee the children’s daily schedules, extracurricular activities, playdates, and homework support while planning engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Provide patient, supportive care tailored to a child with mild anxiety, helping maintain a calm and structured environment.
• Maintain organization of the children’s belongings, including uniforms, backpacks, activity items, and daily essentials.
• Work collaboratively alongside the family’s chef and housekeeper to help maintain smooth household routines.
• Accompany the family on frequent domestic and international travel, including destinations such as Spain, Toronto, and the Hamptons during school breaks and vacations.

Requirements:

• Previous professional nanny experience required, particularly with school-age children.
• Experience supporting children with mild anxiety is strongly preferred.
• Candidates must be warm, emotionally intuitive, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fully staffed household.
• Candidates must also be comfortable with frequent travel and long-term live-in arrangements.
• A valid passport, valid driver’s license, strong swimming ability, clean background check, and medical clearance are required.
