Registered Nurse – Telehealth Obesity Medicine

Position Overview

We're seeking a Registered Nurse for our high-growth telehealth obesity medicine practice. This role supports evidence-based chronic disease management in a fast-paced, virtual care environment with a strong focus on medication prior authorizations and insurance coordination.

Essential Responsibilities

• Review patient histories, labs, and clinical data
• Triage patient communications and escalate appropriately
• Coordinate medication prior authorizations and appeals
• Communicate with insurance carriers and pharmacies regarding coverage
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Support providers in delivering guideline-based care
• Manage high-volume workflows efficiently

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (Compact required)
• Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
• High proficiency with EHRs and digital platforms
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting

Preferred Experience

• Medication prior authorizations or insurance coordination
• High-volume clinical settings (primary care, urgent care, endocrinology, bariatrics)
• Chronic disease management or care coordination
