Project Engineer - Commercial Construction

A highly respected Oklahoma City area Commercial General Contractor is seeking a driven Project Engineer to join their team. This firm has built a strong reputation for delivering landmark, cutting-edge projects while fostering the professional growth of their people. The Project Engineer will play an integral role in supporting project execution, working alongside experienced leaders, and developing the skills to become a future project manager.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to support project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.
* Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and all project documentation.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers to maintain schedules and resolve issues.
* Monitor progress in the field to ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
* Gain hands-on experience across multiple phases of construction with a clear path toward advancement.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent construction experience).
* 1-3 years of commercial construction experience preferred (internships or co-op experience will be considered).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar project management software is a plus.
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ambition to grow into a project leadership role.
