Seasons Supermarkets is one of the largest kosher supermarket chains in the nation. At present, there are nine Seasons locations across the Tri-State area with plans to expand. Seasons offers its customers a full-service kosher shopping experience where everyone, including its highly dedicated associates, is treated like family.
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Produce Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining a fresh, well-stocked, and visually appealing produce department while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about produce, detail-oriented, and committed to quality and food safety.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Greet customers and assist with questions, recommendations, and product selection.
• Stock, rotate, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables to ensure quality and freshness.
• Inspect produce regularly and remove any items that do not meet quality standards.
• Maintain proper inventory levels, assist with ordering, and receive deliveries while noting discrepancies.
• Set up, maintain, and break down attractive produce displays.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and priced.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce department, including work and storage areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist customers with reaching items and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Support other store operations and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
• Prior produce experience required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
• Knowledge of produce quality, handling, and food safety standards.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, stand for extended periods, bend, squat, and climb ladders as needed.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
