In this role, you will be the go-to expert for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing the electronic circuit boards that power our industry-leading textile spinning and twisting machinery.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
  • Component-Level Master: Diagnose complex circuit board failures and replace defective components including resistors, capacitors, ICs, relays, and power devices.

  • Precision Benchwork: Utilize intermediate to advanced soldering and desoldering skills for both through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) components.

  • Diagnostic Expert: Read and interpret electronic schematics and wiring diagrams while using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators to pinpoint faults.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct functional testing and quality inspections to ensure every board meets performance standards before returning to service.

  • Operations Support: Keep accurate repair records, log arriving/departing work, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)
  • Education: Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics Technology (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in electronic repair, PCB troubleshooting, or industrial equipment maintenance.

  • Skills: Schematic literacy, excellent component-level diagnostic skills, and proven SMT/through-hole soldering capabilities.

  • The Extras: Familiarity with industrial control systems, motor drives, power supplies, or inverters is a major plus!

  • Mindset: Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

  • Role: Electronic Repair Technician

  • Status: Hourly / Non-Exempt

  • Reports To: Manager of Repair

  • Core Purpose: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform component-level repairs on electronic circuit boards used in textile spinning and twisting machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnosis & Repair: Identify and repair electronic board failures down to the component level , replacing parts like resistors, capacitors, ICs, relays, and power devices.

  • Testing & Tools: Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators to troubleshoot. Conduct functional testing to ensure parts meet quality standards before return-to-service.

  • Technical Reading: Interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

  • Bench Work: Perform surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole soldering and desoldering.

  • Operations: Log incoming/outgoing work , maintain repair records , track component inventory , and keep a clean, safe workspace.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree or technical certification in electronics technology.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in electronic repair, PCB troubleshooting, or industrial maintenance.
