Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically-minded Electrical CAD Designer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be the bridge between conceptual engineering designs and the technical blueprints used for manufacturing and installation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design & Drafting: Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable routing plans using industry-standard CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical).
- Collaboration: Work closely with Electrical Engineers to translate project requirements into functional design packages.
- Technical Compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, NFPA 70) and internal company specifications.
- BOM Management: Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical components and assemblies.
- Quality Control: Perform peer reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy, clarity, and manufacturability.
- Documentation: Update and maintain "as-built" documentation for completed projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in electrical design or drafting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD Electrical (required). Experience with 3D electrical modeling (SolidWorks/Revit) is a major plus.
- Technical Knowledge: strong understanding of electrical symbols, circuit logic, and power distribution components.
- Detail-Oriented: A "measure twice, cut once" mindset with a high degree of accuracy in documentation.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex technical layouts to non-technical stakeholders or assembly teams.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design, or a related field (or equivalent certifications).
