Sales Business Development Representative (BDC) – Call Center Sales & Appointment Specialist Advantage Auto Group is seeking high-energy, sales-driven professionals to join our growing Business Development Center (BDC). Position Overview As a Sales Business Development Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers responding to inquiries, internet leads, marketing campaigns, and service-to-sales opportunities. Your primary focus will be engaging customers, overcoming objections, setting qualified appointments, and helping drive vehicle sales through consistent follow-up and relationship building. Success in this role is measured by call activity, appointments set, appointment show rates, and overall sales performance. Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to internet and phone leads.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage showroom appointments for the sales team.
  • Build excitement and urgency with customers to increase appointment conversion rates.
  • Conduct follow-up calls, emails, and text campaigns to prospective customers.
  • Consistently overcome objections and effectively communicate dealership value.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions in the CRM.
  • Execute daily marketing and prospecting campaigns.
  • Make a minimum of 125 outbound calls per day.
  • Set and maintain a goal of 5–7 qualified appointments daily.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly appointment, show, and sales performance goals.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and promotional awareness.
  • Work closely with the sales team to maximize customer opportunities and conversions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every interaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous call center, BDC, inside sales, telemarketing, customer service, or appointment-setting experience preferred.
  • Automotive experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong phone presence with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and create customer engagement quickly.
  • Comfortable handling objections and asking for appointments.
  • Motivated by goals, incentives, and performance-based compensation.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic computer and CRM proficiency.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible schedule as needed.
