Salary: $107,000 - 147,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 12+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise data modeling.
• We need strong hands-on expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• We require experience with Erwin Data Modeler or comparable modeling tools.
• We need practical knowledge of dimensional modeling for analytics and reporting.
• We require familiarity with enterprise canonical data models.
• We need experience designing data solutions for modern lakehouse or data warehouse environments.
• We require solid SQL skills and the ability to work closely with data engineering teams.
• We need excellent communication skills and a collaborative, business-partnering mindset.
• We prefer experience in retail, consumer, or other multi-domain organizations.
• We prefer exposure to Databricks and the broader Azure ecosystem, including Delta Lake, Spark SQL, ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Purview.
• We prefer experience supporting Customer 360, enterprise analytics, or supply chain data initiatives.
• We prefer familiarity with BI tools and semantic modeling, such as Power BI.

• We design data structures that reflect how information moves across our retail business, including stores, supply chain, customers, and finance.
• We define enterprise data architecture that supports analytics, reporting, and operational needs.
• We create data models for core domains such as customer, product, sales, store, supplier, and supply chain.
• We lead conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling using Erwin Data Modeler or similar solutions.
• We apply proven modeling methods, including Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional star or snowflake designs.
• We develop and maintain enterprise canonical models so teams use a shared data vocabulary.
• We establish modeling standards for naming, keys, definitions, and documentation to keep data consistent and well-governed.
• We use AI-assisted architecture and modeling features in Erwin and related tools to speed up delivery, improve uniformity, and support impact analysis.
• We design schemas and structures optimized for Databricks, Delta Lake, and Spark SQL.
• We architect and model the data layer within our Azure-based collaborative ecosystem, including SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• We partner with data engineering teams to align models with ingestion pipelines and transformation logic.
• We ensure data is easy to consume by dashboards, reports, semantic layers, APIs, and downstream systems.
• We embed governance into our designs by building in lineage, auditability, and ownership.
• We work with security and governance partners to support PII- and PCI-safe data designs and enterprise policy requirements.
• We help define data quality expectations so teams can rely on the metrics and outputs they use.
• We produce clear documentation and architecture artifacts that are practical and reusable.
• We translate business requirements into scalable, fit-for-purpose data designs.
• We serve as a trusted partner to Product, Engineering, BI, and Analytics teams.
• We participate in Agile delivery by providing architecture direction and reviewing designs.
• We explain complex data concepts in a straightforward, accessible way.
