As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Unit in Naples FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support access activity with professionalism and this role you will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while reflecting our values of agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures access control activities and when appropriate emergency response actions at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances restricted areas and public-facing spaces verifying credentials and/or permissions while following post orders and applicable use of force guidelines.
• Assist with de-escalation provide directions and information and coordinate with supervisors first responders and/or local authorities during security-related events or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
