Job Description

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driving Role in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service and communication. 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors customers and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting notable activity to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the sales floor entrances parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas verify authorized entry when required and provide a visible presence that helps to support order throughout the location.
• Assist with de-escalation emergency notifications and coordination with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when circumstances call for additional response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
