Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Revenue Accountant or Government Contracts Billing Specialist to join a team with an immediate need — this is a high-visibility hire being tracked at the executive level. If you have a strong billing background in government contracting and know how to navigate the nuances of government invoicing, funding processes, and agency communication, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Manage billing and invoicing processes specific to government contracts
• Serve as a direct point of contact with government agencies and clients, requiring clear and professional written and verbal communication
• Navigate online government systems accurately and efficiently
• Handle a fluid workload with shifting priorities and exercise sound judgment on when to work independently versus escalate

What We're Looking For

• 3–5+ years of experience in government contracting, with a heavy billing focus
• Solid understanding of how government contracts, invoicing, and funding processes work
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills — this role requires direct external communication with agencies and clients
• Comfort working in online government platforms and portals
• A self-starter mindset — someone who researches issues before asking for help and knows how to operate with ambiguity

Nice to Have

• Experience with WAWF, GSA, or IPP systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visio (fully trainable)

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday on-site, remote Fridays
