Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Python API Developer with expertise in AWS Serverless architecture to design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Python, AWS Lambda, Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB, Liquibase, and CI/CD pipelines , along with hands-on knowledge of cloud-native application development, database optimization, and Agile delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda in a serverless architecture
• Build cloud-native applications integrating Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB while ensuring high performance and scalability
• Manage database schema changes, version control, and migrations using Liquibase
• Develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise-grade applications following AWS and security best practices
• Implement automated testing, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting for APIs and database services
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and cloud resource utilization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews
• Support production deployments, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and implementation guides

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS API Gateway
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with Microservices Architecture
• Familiarity with Event-Driven Architectures
• AWS Certification (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect) is a plus
