Project Engineer - Commercial Construction
Seeking a driven Project Engineer to join one of Chicago's most respected and fastest-growing commercial General Contractors. Responsibilities
* Assist Project Managers in day-to-day project operations.
* Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
* Track and maintain project schedules and budgets.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, design teams, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
* Support safety and quality control processes.
* Contribute to project closeout, punch lists, and final documentation.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
* 1-6 years of experience in commercial construction for a general contractor
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Proficiency with project management and scheduling software.
* Desire to grow into a leadership role in the field or project management.
