Position Details: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Med Surg / Medical 7E Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128Schedule: Part-Time 24 hours/weekShift: Night Shift 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMSign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000 for part-time and full-time caregiversAbout the Unit Our Medical unit 7W care for a diverse mix of adult patients who require telemetry monitoring. Common diagnoses include cellulitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, chest pain, gastrointestinal issues, COPD exacerbations, and medically stable COVID patients.

Qualifications Education:High school diploma or GED equivalentLicensure:Graduate of an accredited practical nursing programMust hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirementsComparable education experience and successful licensure may be consideredExperience:New graduates and experienced LPNs welcomeCertifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire)LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months (up to 1 year based on unit requirements)Physical Requirements:Frequent standing and walking throughout shiftSignificant bending, stooping, and patient lifting/turning with assistanceAbility to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs Why Mercy?
