About the Role

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for servicing and maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms, including guest departures and stay overs
  • Strong guest service orientation in order to ensure high guest expectations
  • Fast-paced environment that requires moderate amounts of walking and continuous standing
  • Ensure clean and comfortable rooms for our guests
  • Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities
  • Clean bathrooms, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and remove trash
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and supplies
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

The hourly rate for this position is $23.43.

Qualifications

  • Must have open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight
  • Capable of standing for long periods of time
  • Able to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
  • Unafraid of guest room related tasks and responsibilities
  • Takes pride in a job well done
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Previous hotel specific housekeeping Experience highly preferred
