As a Armed Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Phoenix AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support people with exceptional customer service and this armed post you will bring teamwork integrity and a caring approach while delivering reliable agile and innovative service throughout your assigned location.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Serve in an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site post orders maintaining professional readiness and handling assigned equipment in a responsible manner.
• Monitor access points verify authorization when required and report security-related concerns hazards and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
